Chettinad Prawn pepper masala

Chettinad Prawn pepper masala: Prawn has good amount of Selenium. It is good for heart since it has Omega 3 acids. Its good for teeth and bones. In Tamil it is called as Iral. In western it is called as Shrimp. There are many varieties of Prawns available in the market. Little size to Lobster size. Now we will make Chettinad prawn pepper Curry.


Prawn/Shrimp/Iral – 300gm

Tomato – 1

Onion – 1

Garlic pods – 3

Dry Red chilli – 2

Cinnamon – ½ inch

Cloves – 4

Green cardamon - 2

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp


Stir-fried Asparagus

Stir-fried Asparagus: Asparagus is one of the best vegetables which has vitamin, protein and minerals. It is basically a root category vegetable. In tamil it is called as “ThanneerVittan Kizhangu”. This can be cooked raw or slightly cooked. It is available in two colors white and green. Green color is the most widely used Asparagus. Today we will make stir-fried Asparagus.

Dry Red chilli – 3

Cumin seeds – 1 tsp

Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
